Yes; India has the social media app FM WhatsApp. FM WhatsApp’s message response has been in development for months, and the feature finally rolled out to the masses last month for Android, iOS and web users. The company spent another month supporting React to its UWP-based beta app on Windows 10 and 11.

FM WhatsApp Beta UWP gets React feature in latest update?
FM WhatsApp Beta UWP is finally getting support for React to the latest update. This is no different from what you see on Android and iOS clients. You’ll see an emoji next to every message you receive, and you can react to it with many emojis, including heart, thumbs up, open mouth, tears of joy, folded hands Man and crying face.

React is more than just getting users to react to certain emojis. FM WhatsApp also allows users to see who has reacted to their messages. This is especially useful when you are sending messages on different groups. You can just click on the emoji to see how many people reacted to your message.

It’s worth noting that this isn’t a staged rollout, which means anyone running FM WhatsApp beta version 2.2223.11.0 can react with the aforementioned emoji. Meta will roll out more emojis and skin tones at some point in the future, and there’s a good chance that it will be available to Android and iOS users first. But ideally, it shouldn’t take more than a month to bring these changes to UWP beta apps as well.
