Many Fouad WhatsApp users on Android have complained that they have lost their media files on the app. This issue seems to have affected some users and was discovered in the FouadWhatsApp latest update. Users with Fouad WhatsApp v9.41 and v8.86 on Android and those with the latest update are affected. While the software developer has not confirmed the issue and provided a fix, there is a way to fix this issue and recover your media files. Some users have noticed that they cannot find their media content such as videos and photos on FouadWhatsApp for Android. However, the missing content exists on their phone and can be seen in the photo album.

If you are one of the people who encountered this problem, here is the solution for you. This will allow you to restore the media files in the app so they can be forwarded and shared with others. You don’t need to open the picture gallery anymore for this. To resolve this issue, follow the steps below. Before starting the process, please note that you must have all your chats backed up on Google Drive.

  1. Close FouadWhatsApp on the phone, and then clear the cache. Make sure the app is not running in the background.
  2. Open your phone’s native file manager and go to FouadWhatsApp. Then click Media.
  3. Now, move the content in the “Media” folder to “Android” > “Fouad WhatsApp” > “Media”.
  4. Remember that you only need to move the media folder and not the entire folder contents.
  5. Wait while all content is moved to the new destination folder. Once done, you can open Fouad WhatsApp.

After completing these steps, you will be able to see media files on the app again.

If you don’t want to do this, you can wait for Fouad WhatsApp to roll out a fix for this issue, but we don’t know when that will happen. The update rolled out by FouadWhatsApp probably just moves the content from the media folder to the new folder, like it instructs you to do it manually.
